Birth Experiences & Healing: Anonymous Sharing Form

I’m working on an educational resource focused on understanding, processing, and healing after difficult, disappointing, or traumatic birth experiences.

I’m inviting women who feel called to share parts of their story—only what they feel comfortable sharing, and completely anonymously—to help shape this work.

This includes a wide range of experiences:

  • Births that didn’t go as planned

  • Transfers from home or birth center to hospital

  • Unwanted or unexpected cesareans or interventions

  • Feeling unheard, rushed, or pressured

  • Lingering disappointment, grief, or confusion

  • Pregnancy or birth loss

  • Experiences that may feel “minor” to others, but still had a lasting impact on you

You do not need to have the “right words,” a clear narrative, or a resolved story. You may skip any question. You may stop at any time. Your well-being matters more than completing the form.

The purpose of this project is not to sensationalize birth trauma, but to:

  • Validate experiences that are often minimized

  • Better understand what women need after birth doesn’t go as expected

  • Offer language, frameworks, and compassion to those walking this path

If you choose to participate, your responses may be used anonymously to inform or be quoted (with consent) in an educational guide focused on trauma-informed care, informed consent, and healing.
